There is a choice to either hit an over-271 yard carry to overcome the bunker, or play safe and place it by the left of the sand trap. Judgement of distance and wind is the key. The trees on the left will be of concern while aiming to surpass the bunker, but if successful, the remaining distance is 70-80 yards creating a birdie opportunity. For the other route, even if it ends up in the bunker, the ball tends to stop around the centre making it possible to aim for the pin.
