With improvements of driving distances, the two bunkers on the left have become a major disturbance for players. They are located in places of concern for both shots that go long and short. Previously, players had taken tee shots looking to avoid the pine tree. However, with more distance on drivers, players now either aim their shot toward the pine tree itself or the visible Sheraton Hotel. The second shot is recommended with a short iron or wedge whilst playing with a tailwind, and middle iron with headwind. It should also be noted that there is a gentle mound in the middle of the green.
